- Our FTP site is now up and running. You can use this site to transfer images more efficiently. You must have a DSL line and an FTP client program before you can use this site. Please contact Customer Service to help you set this up. You will need a password and user name, which we will provide.
- Digital files will only be accepted after sample files are submitted for our review and our approval.
- Digital files must come from a digital camera. No scans will be accepted.
- Files can be submitted on CD's or via FTP.
- Images must be saved in JPG format. Your file size should be approximately 700-800K for 3 x 5 or 5 x 7 and 1 MB for 8 x 10 or larger. When ordering multiple sizes, send the larger file. (4MB maximum)
- File numbers must correspond to the numbers on the envelopes and/or the information entered into your R.O.E.S. write-up.
- Do not color correct your files.
- All files must be properly oriented and cropped. When viewed on a computer screen, all individuals must be vertical and all team pictures must be horizontal. If your cropping is poor, your final product will reflect this. Sport Stars does not crop images. We will correct files that are not properly oriented for a fee. You will be charged for imaging time.
- Send only the file that you want printed. If you shoot more than one exposure of a child or team, you must edit before submission.
- We process 35mm film at no charge with your order.
- We also accept uncut, pre-processed rolls of 35mm film. We cannot guarantee the quality of the end product if we do not process the film (color, streaks, scratches, etc.)
- Cut negatives (4-5 negatives per strip) can be supplied. There will be a $1.00 / negative handling fee applied to your bill. We cannot guarantee the quality of the end product if we do not process the film.
- Digital products can be produced from 3½" x 5" to 5" x 7" photographic prints.
- Lustre prints are preferred.
- Borderless prints are required.
- Prints must be numbered on the back, starting with 1, 2, 3, etc.
- Envelopes must be numbered to correspond with the prints.
- Place envelopes and proofs into two separate groups.
- Include the team photo if you are ordering the sports composite or the team portrait. Make sure that the team photo is labeled.
- One size proof per job.
