We need your cooperation in order to produce good, consistent products in a timely fashion. All orders submitted to Sport Stars must include paperwork to organize the job. We ask that you complete and submit two (2) forms with every order - a Field / Shoot Log and a Program Order Master Sheet (P.O.M.S.), both explained below.
All photographers are required to shoot slates. Slates contain information such as the name of the organization, the individual team name, the date, and the photographer's name. The information you put on the slates is used by the lab to organize your job. Dry erase boards and markers are ideal. Digital shooters must photograph a slate at the start of every new team and when an individual child is photographed out of sequence with the rest of the team. Photographers using film must shoot slates at the beginning of each roll of film, prior to the start of every new team, and when an individual child is photographed out of sequence with the rest of the team. If you are not familiar with slates, feel free to contact us.
On picture day, you must keep a brief field/shoot log explaining the information on each slate along with individual and team sequencing information. If you have multiple photographers in the field, each one must keep a log. This is how the lab can determine where each team starts and finishes. This form helps us match your film or files with the envelopes. Sport Stars will supply you with this form.
You must complete and submit a brief form called the Program Order Master Sheet (P.O.M.S.) with each job. This form contains all of the general information that is needed to process, bill, and ship each order. This form can also be printed automatically if you use our R.O.E.S. write-up program.
